A city that boasts of a rich cultural heritage, well maintained tourist spots, international hotels and chains, its also a hub for several flights across Asia. A peppy city that hosts one of the best parties in the world with completely rocking music, stage setting and and some amazing people.
Bangkok is a city that’s known for extremes. On the one hand you have clubs,massage parlours, ladyboy dances etc. On the other hand you get to see the rich cultural heritage of Bangkok being displayed through magnificent pagodas, golden temples, Buddha statues and other cultural spots. These cultural spots still try to preserve the rich heritage and tradition of Thai people through their rules and procedures
So if one were to visit this peppy city, here’s a list of some awesome places you should definitely go to during your tour
1. The Temple Tour : A visit to the Grand Palace, Emerald Buddha statue and the Wat Arun temple is a must. These magnificent sculptures and the giant sleeping Buddha is a fine example of their architecture
2. Shopping Mall : Of course what’s Bangkok without loads and loads of shopping. Bangkok probably has more malls than any city in the world, with almost every area having atleast 5-6 huge malls. Some of the largest and important malls include MBK Plaza, Terminal 21, Siam Paragon Mall etc. This is the most ideal place to get some peppy dresses at a great price
Of course if you are the type of person who loves to do street shopping, you can go in for the small markets which includes Chatuchak Shopping Market and Pratunam Weekend Market .
Interestingly you can also do some shopping on the riverside , just 100 kms away from Bangkok in a place called Ayuthaya which is incidentally famous for the Floating fruits and vegetable market
You can also try your hand at adventure activities at Art in Paradise, go visit the beautiful Underwater world or even admire at the beautiful wax statues at Madame Tussauds
Of course a food trail is the most important thing to do in a city like Bangkok. The authentic thai cuisine can be totally a different experience and something one should definitely do . The Pad Thai noodles and Coconut based soup is one of their famous speciliaties
Bangkok is surrounded by several islands like Pattaya, Hua Hin, Krabi, Phuket that makes it an ideal place for a complete peppy vacation. If there’s some city which should be called as having too much fun, it should definitely be Bangkok
